"A few days before the murder, the American expatriate had vandalized the late Mr. Agus Sopian's house. Why didn't law enforcement take action?" he wonders.

Kang Dim acknowledges that the police did summon the perpetrator for questioning, but it didn't deter him. "Instead of stopping, the American expatriate escalated from damaging property to brutally killing his father-in-law! The police's sensitivity to potential danger seems unusual," Kang Dim adds.
