Head of Raharja Village in Purwaharja Subdistrict, Yayat Ruhiyat, recounted the marriage of the American expat Arthur to Siti Bashiroh, which took place on June 26, 2021. They were already blessed with a child. Their wedding celebration was simple and held at Siti Bashiroh's parents' home.

Their marriage lasted for over two years, resulting in a one-year-old only child of the American expat.

Following the bloody incident on Sunday, September 24, 2023, the little child, who is the only child of the American expat, now resides with his wife, Siti Bashiroh, in their home, which is about 100 meters away from the incident location.

The only child of the American expat, born from the marriage to Siti Bashiroh, still holds dual citizenship, that of a foreigner and an Indonesian citizen.

This dual citizenship status will remain until he turns 18 years old. After reaching the age of 18 or upon deciding to get married, he will have to choose which citizenship to retain, either American or Indonesian.

"As for the citizenship status of the only child, he (the American expat, red) still has two countries, a foreigner and an Indonesian," said Village Head Yayat Ruhiyat.
